Description
In 2016, Capricorn Premium developed the XS formula of additives with high lubricating power combined with a smaller internal diameter, 1.9 mm. ± 0.05 mm., in order to print flexible filaments with Bowden-controlled printers. Beta testers quickly discovered that this also allowed them to reduce retraction, which turned out to be an even bigger selling point.
High lubrication additives make our XS series tubes the least rubbing Bowden tubes on the market. Less friction means more responsiveness, less shrinkage, more accurate prints, less slipping, wear and tear on the extruder, and less clogging when printing large filaments, such as some fiberfills. wood or iron.
Lower retraction means saving time each time the extruder retracts. During a print, a few milliseconds here and there saves us a lot of time.
