General:

Any transaction carried out on the www.madeit.ch site is governed by the respective legislation of Swiss law (click on it for more info).

These T&Cs are intended for a consumer who has full legal capacity (the customer). These T&Cs apply to all orders placed on this site.

On our website www.madeit.ch the customer has the possibility to buy “Goods”, “Services” and to put on sale, or for free download, their 3D files. We would like to inform you that the T&Cs vary depending on the action chosen. We are pleased to detail them below.

Any “property” created, modified or personalized at the request of the customer as well as any program or file purchased on our website www.madeit.ch are subject to the GCS respective to the “service”.

“Goods”

On our site, www.madeit.ch , “goods” are concrete and physically tangible things (example: materials, consumables, tools, etc.).

” Services “

On our site www.madeit.ch , “services” are different from “goods” which, by contrast, are said to be “intangible” (example: troubleshooting, training, delivery, program, file, any “good” created, etc.).

Ordered :

The order takes place in 3 steps:

– Step 1: Go to the shopping cart to check the accuracy of your order and its shipping method. If you have a “Promo Code” (on the promo code box) or a “gift voucher” (on the gift voucher box), you can apply it during this step in the box provided for this purpose . Click on “Validate the order” to go to step 2. By clicking directly on “Validate the order” without going through the basket you will be directed directly to step 2.

– Step 2: If you have a “Promo Code” (on the promo code box) or a “gift voucher” (on the gift voucher box), you can apply it during this step in the box meant for that purpose. You will need to complete the “Billing details” form (mandatory fields marked with a red asterix) with the possibility of shipping to a different address than the one marked in the “Billing details” form. You must confirm the desired shipping method and payment method. Last moment to check the accuracy of your order and the data entered. You will have to read and accept our T&Cs to be able to confirm the order. By clicking on “ORDER”, you confirm your order (conclusion of the contract).

– Step 3: The order is confirmed, a summary is sent to you. An email will be sent to you with the confirmation of your order and a summary of the products and options selected.

The customer concludes his order when he activates the “ORDER” link (step 2 of the ordering process, at the bottom of the page) and accepts these conditions of sale without reservation. Before this validation, the customer is advised to check each of the elements of his order (steps 1 and 2 of the ordering process), he can thus correct any errors.

When the customer clicks on “ORDER”, the status of the order appears in “Orders” on his account if an account has been created (possibility of ordering without creating an account). An order confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail summarizing all the products and options selected. The customer must check in this order form all the information transmitted and in particular all the elements useful for delivery (example: delivery address, digicode, telephone, etc.) and for invoicing.

The customer has the option at any time, during the step 1 and 2 process (before having concluded his order), to identify and correct any errors made when entering his data or to modify the basket. When he notices an error after the conclusion of the contract, he must contact us without delay (click on this link “contact us” ).

The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of the data transmitted during the ordering process.

The order of “Gift voucher” (minimum value of 20 Chf) can be personalized and you have any means of payment offered on our site to pay it. The customer has the possibility, once holder of a “Gift voucher”, to recharge it (with the code of the gift voucher). Once paid, we will send the “Gift Voucher” to the recipient or purchaser (as specified by the purchaser).

All orders placed and not paid for which the customer does not follow up, will be canceled after 72 hours. You will then have to place a new order.

The data recorded by made it constitutes proof of the nature, content and date of the order. These are archived by made it under the legal conditions and deadlines (click on it to see our privacy policy).

Orders are executed only when the full collection of payment will be received by made it Sàrl , except for deliveries by courier (canton of Geneva only) and when picking up the order from made it (the customer has the option of paying when the goods are delivered).

To begin the creation, modification or personalization of an object, a deposit of 50% of the sum must be paid (unless otherwise agreed on our part, for more information “contact us” ).

made it Sàrl reserves the right at any time, if the “service” or the “good” ordered is unavailable, to modify the order by informing you as soon as possible. The amounts already paid by the customer will be refunded, at the latest, within 30 days of payment.

Through this same ordering process, the customer has the option of selling or downloading their own 3D files. However, we draw your attention that during this transaction, the basket must be empty. No other command should be done at the same time.

Price :

Our website www.madeit.ch indicates the prices in Swiss francs (Chf). Prices shown are final prices. Shipping costs appear during your order (step 1 and 2 of the ordering process) and are added to the total sum of the price of your products.

made it Sàrl reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products already ordered are invoiced at the price in effect when the order is recorded.

Orders are payable only in Chf (Swiss franc) regardless of the country where the order is placed.

When selling your 3D file, you fully decide the selling price in Chf (Swiss franc). made it Sàrl will receive 20% of the sale price.

Payment :

You have several means of payment to pay for your purchases:

  1. Through our website:
    – by credit card: PosteFinance, Visa, MasterCard, American Express (through the totally secure PosteFinance process) (click on it for more information on their privacy policy).
    – by Paypal (or credit card via Paypal).
    – by Twint
    – by bank transfer: the information for the transfer will be communicated to you when the order is concluded (on the order summary as well as by email on the order confirmation).
  2. On site / on delivery:
    – by cash
    – by PayPal
    – by Twint
    – by Leman
    – by credit card: PosteFinance (only on site via our website, computer made available), Visa, MasterCard, American Express) by the totally secure process Stripe (click on it for more info on their privacy policy), the customer will have to enter their card data on the Stripe payment application on the seller / delivery person’s iPhone. No trace of this data will be recorded or kept by the iPhone, a completely secure process.

– promo code / gift voucher: Customers with a “Promo Code” / “Gift voucher” can deduct them from the total amount to be paid when placing an order (steps 1 and 2) in the box provided for this purpose or on the spot. The period of validity is 1 year (possibility of extending the period at the request of the customer, this is not done automatically), they must be used with the email to which they have been assigned.

The customer has the possibility to place the order on site from our totally secure PC (use exclusively dedicated to this use), you can place your orders there in complete safety. All the means of payment described above will be available. When paying by card on our PC, the customer must enter their card details using the payment methods described above. No trace of this data will be recorded or kept by the PC, a completely secure process.

made it Sàrl is not responsible for any transaction malfunctions related to the online payment services used. The user must return to these services.

When ordering a “service”, beyond approximately 100.- CHF, a deposit of approximately 20% of the total amount must be paid to start the order (unless otherwise agreed on our part) .

Any deposit paid during a “service” cannot be refunded without the agreement of both parties (for example during purchases of material goods to start the order, use of consumables, service carried out by partners, etc. ).

Once the “service” has been completed, orders under CHF 100.- must be paid for when picking up / receiving the order or before shipping (unless otherwise agreed by us). For “services” beyond 100.- CHF, an invoice payable within 30 days will be sent to him.

In the event of non-payment on time, a first free reminder will be sent by email or sms to the customer. If the customer does not respond to the first reminder within 15 days, a second free reminder will be sent to him by email or sms. If after 15 days the second reminder remains unanswered, a third paid reminder (40.- CHF) will be sent to him by email and registered mail.

At the end of 15 days following the third reminder, we will initiate legal recovery proceedings. All recovery costs (example: prosecution costs, stamp costs, formalities, travel, etc.) will be borne by the customer.

Any “service” / “product” that has not been fully paid for remains the property of made it Sàrl (eg custom-made 3D printer, etc.).

Delivery :

made it Sàrl offers the following delivery methods:

– by post in PostPac Economy (click on it for more info) or PostPac Priority (click on it for more info). Orders placed before 3pm will be dispatched the same day, Monday to Friday. made it Sàrl reserves the right to modify the delivery method by sending it to you by registered mail or A+ mail if the content of the order allows it. The customer will be informed and the difference in price will be returned to him in the form of a “Promo Code”.

– by courier, deliveries are made at the end of the day between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (or earlier depending on our availability), only in the canton of Geneva, from Monday to Friday. We will contact the customer as soon as possible. Orders placed after 6 p.m. will only be delivered the following day (possibility of arrangement depending on our availability). Orders placed on Friday after 6 p.m. will only be delivered the following Monday (possibility of delivering on Saturday depending on our availability). For any arrangement “contact us” .

– come and collect your order from us (recovery of the order by the customer at our address).

made it Sàrl declines all responsibility in the event of late delivery by the post office or courier for which we are not responsible (example: bad weather, demonstrations, traffic jams, accidents, logistical malfunction, etc.).

The risk of loss and degradation is transferred to the buyer at the time of delivery of the goods or at the time of deposit of the goods with the company responsible for carrying out the shipment.

The order will only be processed/shipped when full payment has been received, with the exception of deliveries by courier or when picking up the order from made it Sàrl (the customer has the option of paying at the time of delivery of the goods).

For orders of created, modified or personalized objects, the shipment will be made when the object is available/realized and the total amount will be collected by made it, with the exception of deliveries by courier or when recovering the order from made it Sàrl (the customer has the option of paying when the goods are delivered).

During a delivery by courier, the customer agrees to be present at the delivery address mentioned in the order and at the time fixed by telephone or email following the order. In the event of an error in the delivery address and/or non-respect of the commitments on the part of the customer, the delivery costs incurred will be borne by the customer.

Deliveries by courier are deposited against the customer’s signature. At the time of delivery if the customer (or other person authorized to receive) is not present, the package will be returned to made it Sàrl , the costs incurred will be charged to the customer (example: new delivery, new shipping method, …).

Return policy :

Merchandise must be returned in its original packaging, with all accessories and a copy of the delivery note within 7 days. Returns must be packaged appropriately and sent to the address of made it Sàrl at the customer’s risk and expense. We recommend that you register the shipment. Returns that cannot be attributed to a customer will be eliminated by made it Sàrl after 30 days.

If the return is due to a defect, a detailed description of the error must be attached. If there are no identifiable errors, made it Sàrl is entitled to charge the costs of inspection and return to the customer.

If the goods contain a data memory, total loss of data is possible. The responsibility for data backup and protection rests exclusively with the customer. made it Sàrl declines all responsibility.

Withdrawal / Refund:

Any withdrawal must be done by means of a letter written by email to the following address: madeit@madeit.ch .

The customer can exercise his right of withdrawal within 7 days of receipt of his “property”. Return costs remain the responsibility of the customer. We will refund all amounts paid no later than 14 days following your withdrawal. All products must be returned in their original packaging.

In accordance with the legal provisions, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in the event of purchase:

– “goods” made, personalized or modified at the request of the customer

– open and non-returnable “goods” (example: consumables, filaments, etc.)

– digital content provided on an immaterial medium, the execution of which has begun with the customer’s agreement and for which he has waived his right of withdrawal

– services fully executed before the end of the withdrawal period or whose execution has begun

There is also no possibility of withdrawal for:

– maintenance or repair work to be carried out or already carried out

– the provision of transport or leisure services provided on a date or according to a determined frequency (courier delivery, course, discovery day).

When selling your 3D files, the customer has his right of withdrawal to withdraw his file from sale. To do this, simply send us a request by email to the following address: madeit@madeit.ch . Your request will be processed as soon as possible. Any file that has already been sold to a third party cannot be recovered, or at the expense of the customer (if the file sold infringes intellectual property rights, or other reason).

Any cancellation of an order for a “service” must be announced, at the latest, 48 hours in advance. Any action already taken on our part (example: modelling, 3D printing, equipment used, provision of a third party, etc.) must be honored by the customer.

During a refund, the transaction costs are the responsibility of the customer (only the payment on site is refunded in full). Example: on an order of 10.- paid via PayPal, the transaction costs rise to 5%, we only refund the money collected, 9.50.-. Depending on the method of payment, transaction fees vary.

Privacy and Security :

made it Sàrl strictly observes the legal requirements when processing your personal data ( data protection laws ), click on it for more info).

The username and password allowing the customer to identify and connect are personal and confidential. The identifier can only be changed at the customer’s request by email or at the initiative of made it Sàrl (you will be informed). The customer can at any time change or modify the content of his account (with the exception of his identifier).

The customer is entirely responsible for the use of the personal identification elements concerning him. The client undertakes to keep them secret and not to disclose them in any form whatsoever.

made it Sàrl transmits the personal data recorded during the order (delivery address, digicode, telephone, etc.) only if this is necessary for the execution of the contract (see our “Privacy Policy” ).

Intellectual property :

The images, drawings, designs, texts, names and logos appearing on the website www.madeit.ch are the property of their authors and as such are protected by intellectual property rights.

Any customer making files or images available on our website guarantees that he is the author or that he holds all the intellectual property rights over them and that he has not infringed the intellectual property rights of third parties by transmitting them. The customer is solely responsible for the files transmitted by them to our website. made it Sàrl declines all responsibility.

Guarantee :

made it Sàrl declines all responsibility in the event of damage resulting directly or indirectly from the use of this website.

The illustrations appearing on the site www.madeit.ch are not contractual.

Customers making a file available (free or otherwise) commit to the quality of the 3D file. They are held responsible for this quality and the printability of their file.

made it Sàrl reserves the right to refuse an order as well as the sale / free download of a customer’s files.

The warranty period for a “good” purchased on our site is that authorized by the respective legislation of Swiss law (2 years). For the guarantee to be taken into account, it is necessary that we cannot identify where the problem comes from. For example, a card that has to be burned, of which we cannot control the computer content that has been integrated into it, the responsibility lies with the customer. The customer must be able to provide us with all the information that we consider necessary concerning the problem.

made it Sàrl will not be held responsible in the event of a delay during the creation, modification, personalization of an object (example: malfunction of a program/machine, complexity of the part, material difficult to work with, etc.) or any other “service” and that following this delay, the customer loses a contract or is penalized (by a third party or other).

made it Sàrl declines all responsibility in the event of infringement of intellectual property rights following a request from a customer (example: duplication of an object by 3D printing, reproduction of a virtual model, sale of a file,…), the client alone will be held responsible. The customer must ensure that he owns all intellectual property rights.

We put all our knowledge and experience at the service of the customer to provide him with the most functional printed parts possible. The customer is required to test, beforehand, their “real” functionalities during their applications. made it accepts no liability for any damage resulting from the use of parts printed by us. The customer alone will be held responsible for any damage caused, whether physical (on a person), material or both, following the use of printed objects.
