The TPU98A is available in 7 colors. Samples of 50gr. are available (in black only). Make your choice!

TPU98A is a flexible filament specially formulated for quick and easy printing, whether extrusion is direct or bowden. It has an exceptionally high heat resistance (138°C) and can be stretched up to 450% before reaching its breaking point. The TPU98A does not require the use of a heating mat and can even be printed directly on (clean) glass. It is the flexible filament for (semi) professional users who do not want to compromise and who require a flexible filament with high mechanical strength and that prints easily. The TPU98A is extremely flexible and can be used in a wide variety of applications such as orthopedic insoles, prosthetics, vibration dampers and much more.

Directions for use:
– The recommended temperature for the heating mat is ± 0 – 60°C. Due to its low tendency to retract, the TPU98A can also be printed without a heating mat. Despite its low tendency to retract, we recommend using a hook like The EZ Stick (for all types of parts), an adhesive such as Blue Tape or PET (for small parts), glue (for large parts), or even both (Blue Tape or PET and glue). If you use glue, no need to put it on the entire surface of the part, but only on the contours or areas at risk of retraction.
– The TPU98A is supplied with a moisture <content of 0.2%. After being out of its packaging for several hours, it is recommended to dry it again in a compressed air oven at 65° C to remove moisture. The guideline for drying is the time it has spent out of its packaging. Ex. After 8 hours out of its packaging it must be dried for 8 hours at 65 ° C.
– The TPU98A can be used on all direct or bowden filament deposition 3D printers.

Storage tips:
– Our filaments are filmed, in a cardboard box without window filmed also to ensure the good conservation of the product until the moment of use.
– Store it in a cold and dry environment (15 – 25 ° C), away from light (UV) and under vacuum (to stay dry). We recommend that, after each use, you vacuum it by slipping a silica gel pouch into it and in its box protected from UV. Good storage significantly increases the shelf life of your filament.
