The purefil line of filaments has been specially developed for private use. The use of high quality raw materials creates a 3D printer filament that is particularly easy to process. By using a state-of-the-art manufacturing process, very low manufacturing tolerances are achieved, which leads to convincing printing results with all FDM 3D printers. Each reel is sealed in a high quality bag.
This product is made in Switzerland. Easy to print
For industrial applications and processing using our Plastjet machine series, we recommend Fabru filament, which has been specially developed for industrial applications.
Polyactid Soft is a polymer which, among other things, consists of lactic acid molecules.
PLA Soft is a special type of PLA that is extremely flexible and has a high impact resistance. PLA Soft has an elongation at break 30 times higher than normal PLA and is an easy to print alternative to TPE. A heating bed is advantageous for PLA Soft, but not absolutely necessary.
We recommend that you use an air cooler when processing PLA flexible filament. In addition, PLA has much more pleasant odour properties than other plastics during processing.
As a starting material, PLA Soft is essentially biodegradable under special conditions. However, the final product contains pigments and additives. For this reason, PLA Soft parts should still be disposed of in the trash and not in the garden. This filament meets the compositional requirements of European Regulation 10/2011 on food contact plastics.
Elongation at break 35 times higher than PLA
Ideal material for beginners
Easier to print than TPE
Less flammable than ABS
Printing directly on glass plate
Does not fade
Flexible filament or polylactide PLA is in principle biodegradable, which requires certain environmental conditions, which are usually only found in industrial composting plants. Soft PLA does not normally decompose in nature. We therefore advise against composting soft PLA filament or soft PLA printed parts.
