Description
Purefil PLA-R(ecycling) is made from 100% recycled material. In addition, recycling coils are used. In practical terms, this means that used coils are refilled with new material. The appearance of the reel may differ from the image. Environmentally friendly, as it is made from recycled materials. This product is made in Switzerland. Easy to print.
Per le applicazioni industriali e la lavorazione con la nostra serie di macchine Plastjet, consigliamo il filamento Fabru, sviluppato appositamente per le applicazioni industriali.
Material :
Polyactide is a polymer composed, among other things, of lactic acid molecules.
For PLA filament, a heating bed is advantageous, but not absolutely necessary.
We recommend using an air cooler when processing PLA filament.
In addition, PLA has much more pleasant odour properties than other plastics in processing.
The temperature below which PLA starts to soften is, however, relatively low.
Even at high temperatures in summer, PLA parts can become deformed!
As a raw material, PLA is essentially biological under specific conditions
degradable. However, the final product contains pigments and additives. Because of that
PLA parts should still be disposed of in the bin and not in the garden.
Properties:
Low retraction
Low water absorption
Soluble in many organic solvents
High UV resistance
Low flammability
Heat resistance up to approx. 60°C
PLA or polylactide filament is in principle biodegradable, but certain environmental conditions are required, which can usually only be found in industrial composting facilities. PLA does not normally decompose in nature. We therefore advise against composting PLA filament or PLA printed parts.
