Description
Ruby nozzles are brass nozzles with an almost wear-resistant ruby tip. The fact that they are made of brass gives them excellent thermal conductivity.
With a single nozzle you can print PLA, ABS, PET, nylon and abrasive materials such as carbon fibre enriched 3D filaments, steel, wood, tungsten.
When installing the nozzle, it is advisable to use a torque spanner as the nozzle is subject to a maximum torque of 5Nm. Exceeding this torque will damage the brass inlay. If you do not have a torque spanner, do not use too much force during the installation process, try to control your force.
Caution: The ruby is insensitive to the abrasive nature of the filaments but the point, with a hole in its centre, remains fragile. Handle the nozzle with care and avoid contact of the nozzle with the tray.
