Description
purefil refill packs are wound filaments that are supplied without a spool. This product allows purefil plastic spools to be refilled with new filament. This means that the empty spool no longer has to be thrown away and resources are saved.
The use of high-quality raw materials results in a 3D printer filament that is particularly easy to work with. Thanks to a state-of-the-art manufacturing process, manufacturing tolerances are very low, giving convincing print results for all FDM 3D printers. Each refill is sealed in a high-quality bag. – Made in Switzerland – low diameter and roundness tolerances – easy to print
PLA matt is a PLA filament that gives a matt surface effect thanks to a special formulation of the material. The high-quality matt appearance is achieved by adding special additives to the filament. Normal PLA generally gives a relatively shiny surface when printed. But if a matt surface appearance is desired, matt PLA purefil is perfectly suited to your application.
Polyactide is a polymer composed of lactic acid molecules, among other things. For PLA filament, a heating bed is preferable but not essential. We recommend using an air cooler for PLA filament processing. PLA also has much more pleasant odour properties during processing than other plastics. However, the temperature below which PLA starts to soften is relatively low. Even at high summer temperatures, PLA parts can deform! As a base material, PLA is in principle biodegradable under special conditions. However, the final product contains pigments and additives. That’s why it’s essential to dispose of PLA parts in the bin and not in the garden. This filament meets the compositional requirements of European Regulation 10/2011 on plastic materials intended to come into contact with food. Features :
– minimal shrinkage – low shrinkage – low water absorption – soluble in many organic solvents – high UV resistance – low flammability – heat resistant up to around 60°C PLA or polylactide filament is biodegradable in principle, although certain environmental conditions are required, which is generally only the case in industrial composting facilities. PLA generally does not decompose in nature. We therefore recommend not composting PLA filament or PLA printed parts.
