Description
The use of high quality raw materials creates a 3D printer filament that is particularly easy to process. Thanks to a state-of-the-art manufacturing process, very low manufacturing tolerances are achieved, which leads to convincing printing results with all FDM 3D printers. Each reel is sealed in a high quality bag.
– Made in Switzerland
– small tolerances of diameter and roundness
– easy to print
GF 10% Polycarbonate is a highly advanced, mechanically and thermally stable filament specially designed for 3D printing. In addition to high print quality, high mechanical strength and heat resistance, glass fibre reinforced PC offers excellent impact and break resistance, making it the ideal choice for technical applications.
Caution is required with regard to stress cracks, the effects of hot water and acids/bases such as acetone. The component can then become very brittle and break or shatter without warning. For processing, ensure that the filament is dry and reaches sufficiently high temperatures with your printer.
Characteristics:
– High strength, hardness and toughness
– Temperature resistance from -150 to +135°C
– Good electrical insulation properties
– Low shrinkage
– The PC is resistant to petrol, grease, oils and saturated aliphatic hydrocarbons.
– The PC can be sterilised at 120°C.
– PC is not resistant to strong acids and alkalis, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, or long-term exposure to hot water.
– PC is prone to stress cracking.
– The PC is sensitive to the notch
– The PC burns, but extinguishes after removing the source of ignition.
