PLA Silk (purefil)

Description

purefil refill packs are wound filaments that are supplied without a spool. This product allows purefil plastic spools to be refilled with new filament. This means that the empty spool no longer has to be thrown away and resources are saved. The use of high-quality raw materials results in a 3D printer filament that is particularly easy to use. Thanks to a state-of-the-art manufacturing process, manufacturing tolerances are very low, enabling convincing print results for all FDM 3D printers. Each refill is sealed in a high-quality bag.

Purefil PLA Silk is a PLA-based filament to which appropriate additives have been added in order to obtain a metallic shine. Printed parts have exceptional aesthetic properties. Silk PLA is as easy to work with as standard PLA and has slightly better mechanical properties. This unique filament is specially adapted for applications that require a high visual appearance of the printed parts. Due to the added additives, PLA Silk is no longer 100% biodegradable and cannot be composted. This filament meets the compositional requirements of the European Regulation No. 10/2011 on plastic materials intended to come into contact with foodstuffs.
