Some customers report that they failed to use TL-feeder system.The major reason is that the filament switch jaming at the joint of PTFE tube and heat break.Even if the linking PTFE tube of 1.9 mm inner diameter and recommended Gcode setting are adopted,the filament switching still has problem.
If you want TL-feeder to update your printer for satisfaction,please do as follows:
- If you are using the original or cloned full metal hot end,please replace the heat break with bore of 4.1mm version to ensure that the PTFE tube (outer diameter:4mm,inner diameter:1.9mm) can reach the nozzle.This is similar to the full PTFE liner design of lite6.But please bear in mind that this replacement will limited your hotend to printing temperature over 260 degrees.The whole set of hotend of this configuration is available in our shop.The 4.1mm heat break is already including in the TL-Feeder kit,you can simply use it.(Figure 1 Figure 2)
- It is recommended to fix TL- feeder on top of bowden V6 heat sink with the adapter which is already in the attachment.It provides the highest success rate during our test.(Figure 1)

- Please keep bowden Collet clips well-locked after insert all the PTFE tube into it and ensure the it won’t slip.there is 4 PMMA Collet clips attched to the kits.You can also print out the clips by yourself if you break or missing the clips.(Figure 3) STL:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2125136
- Regularly check whether the Collet of bowden tube are loose.Try to cut several millimeters of end of the PTFE tube and fix the Collet on the new surface of the PTFE tube to prevent the latter from slipping due to deep scratch.Change the whole tube if necessary.
