Description
Ramps are open-source “shields” (daughter card) interfacing electronic elements with, for example, the Mega 2560 control board.
Difference:
Ramps 1.5 and 1.6 Plus are improved versions of Ramps 1.4. More powerful with 200W for the 1.5 and 270W for the 1.6 Plus against 170W for the 1.4. It is the power for the heating mat that has been increased, allowing you to heat the carpet to more than 100°C faster.
The Ramps 1.6 Plus is equipped with a heat sink that performs better than the other two versions.
The Ramps 1.6 Plus is compatible with TMC silent engine drivers unlike the other two versions.
